The Glen Rock Pops was organized in September, 1975 through the Glen Rock Community School. This partnership has brought together fifty musicians from 18 towns throughout Bergen and Passaic counties, who combine their talents to make the Pops one of the area’s favorite listening groups. The Pops repertoire includes Broadway and cinematic scores, along with popular and classical music familiar to their audiences. The Pops performs formal and informal concerts in town and at other venues in northern New Jersey. The orchestra is a segment of Glen Rock TV programming.

The Pops Music Director, Anthony LaGruth, conducts both symphonic and operatic orchestras and is known within the metropolitan and international arenas of the musical world.

The Pops is a 501(c)(3) organization.
